In addition to providing strategic and financial advisory and corporate finance services, Round One acts as a principal investor or co-investor in emerging growth companies with a view to leveraging our business acumen and generating meaningful investment returns. Accordingly, we are actively seeking to make investments in rapidly growing companies that require equity and/or debt capital to foster organic growth, facilitate strategic acquisitions or execute management buyouts.

Our investment approach is based on aligning with management teams as a value-added partner whereby we play an active role in the strategic management and direction of the company as well as provide critical growth capital. We strive to maintain a strong and responsive relationship with management and other financial partners through representation on the company‚Äôs Board of Directors, but do not participate in the day-to-day management of the business. We believe that this represents a “win-win” for emerging companies, our investors and us as early-stage/ high risk investors.

We apply traditional investment banking methodologies and rigorous investment review discipline to all investment opportunities we consider, including extensive financial analysis, comprehensive due diligence, in-depth business strategy review and hands-on transaction execution.
